Today is the first day of June, and you know what that means... White poofy dresses, giant tiered cakes, and flocks of girls in matching frocks. That's right... it's wedding season. Except this time, it's MY wedding (8 days and counting!!). I always thought that brides were wimps when they complained about the stress of a wedding, but now that it's my turn I am finally beginning to understand where they were coming from. Aside from the guest list, the seating charts, the menu choices, and the cake tastings, my wedding is starting to feel like an interior design project in and of itself; From sofa selections to throw pillow color choices; from votive candles to decorative accessories, I am beginning to have trouble telling when I'm at work and when I'm not! Good thing I love my job. :)And for those of you who don't want to spend your pre-wedding bliss doing floor plans and furniture layouts, you can be thankful that we live in one of the biggest wedding hot spots in the country! Leave it to Charleston wedding event coordinators, such as Loluma, to turn a simple wedding reception into a scene that an interior designer, such as myself, would be proud of.
