I can’t believe we're already half way through October! It’s that time of year again... the leaves are just starting to change color, Starbucks has finally brought back my all-time favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte, and, most importantly, it is breast cancer awareness month. Most of us have been affected by this disease in one way or another, whether it was your friend, your aunt, your mother, or even yourself. But rather than living in fear of this disease, we can stand together, fight, and get involved! Make sure to check out some of the great foundations out there that support this great cause. The Susan G. Komen foundation is my personal favorite, focusing on breast cancer research and making screening easy and accessible.

And in honor of breast cancer awareness month, I am dedicating this blog to all things PINK! It is such a wonderful color that can instantly add a sense of lightness, playfulness, and even a bit of sex-appeal to a space. See the examples below for some great ideas for incorporating pink into your own home. So don’t shy away from that beautiful blush, that fierce fuchsia, or that colorful coral that you’ve been lusting over! Go for it! And In the great words of Audrey Hepburn, “I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing. Kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”
