Every month, Gillian Ellis, photographer and blogger behind Coastal Bride gathers the Charleston Blog Society for their meetup. They catch up on all things related to Charleston and their blogs, as well as dish on their new favorite finds both online and in our beautiful city. We were lucky to host them this month and get to know each of them a little better.
We were also lucky to try the all-new dockside menu from Tavern & Table. We crunched on the shrimp ceviche and crispy house-made chips dipped in pimento cheese and salmon. It was so delicious and immediately my mind went to their dock with a beautiful sunset and cool summer breeze off the water. Can't wait to see what else is new there!
Our special guests, Johnny and Taneka of the Cocktail Bandits, were on hand to give us a little lesson in taking delicious, bubbly Moet champagne and turning it into a refreshing summer cocktail. We added a splash of their custom creation and a beautiful, interactive garnish bar. It was fun and had a great time mixing and making it our own and now I wish they could be at every one of our parties. Check out their recipe below!
